Commissary
Canteen is locally owned and operated and presently provides simple and hassle-free services for 24 facilities in Kansas. We can maintain your inventory, fill each inmate’s order, and have orders delivered directly to your facility.

Canteen can develop a custom program that fits your facility’s needs. You can maintain inmate balances, receipts, and different types of purchases – commissary and non-commissary. Special requirements can be faxed or e-mailed and reports are available to help you monitor all inmate accounts. Check writing capability is also available.

Food Service
Canteen currently provides meals for approximately 1,400 inmates at the Sedgwick County Detention Center. We have recently developed new programs which can allow us to offer services to smaller county jails. As commodities and raw material costs continue to rise, Canteen can allow you to stay within your current operating budget.
